Responsible Gambling
Guidance to help you play responsibly, recognise risk, and find support across New Zealand.
Play responsibly
- Set a budget and time limit before you start. Only spend what you can afford to lose.
- Take regular breaks; avoid playing when stressed, upset, or under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
- Don’t chase losses. If you’re not enjoying it, stop and return another time.
- Keep play separate from essential expenses (rent, utilities, food) and financial obligations.
Time & spend controls
If limit tools are available in your account settings, use them to set daily/weekly time or spending caps. If not, use device/app tools (screen time, timers) and payment controls (prepaid card, separate wallet) to help you stick to your plan.
Warning signs
- Spending more time/money than intended; hiding play from others
- Borrowing money or missing bills due to play
- Chasing losses; feeling irritable when trying to stop
- Using play to escape anxiety, depression, or stress
Self-exclusion & account restrictions
- Email contact@nzkoruplay.com with “Self-Exclusion Request” (include your account email/username).

Note: Self-exclusion applies to your account with nzkoruplay.com and does not automatically exclude you from other operators or platforms.
