Age Verification Policy
Last updated: May 27, 2026
1) Who may use nzkoruplay.com
You must be of legal age to participate where you are located. For users in New Zealand, the minimum age is 20, unless a higher minimum age applies under your local law, in which case the higher age applies. We do not permit access or use by minors.
2) How the age gate works
- Self-declaration: we may request your date of birth during sign-up and/or before certain features are available.
- Location signals: we may use IP address, device location (if enabled), and other technical indicators to estimate your jurisdiction.
- Risk-based prompts: we may request additional verification if signals suggest you may be underage or in an age-restricted location.
3) Checks we may use
To confirm age and eligibility, we may (where lawful and proportionate) use one or more of the following:
- Identity and age verification through third-party providers and public/credit-header databases.
- Document review (e.g., government-issued photo ID) and, where needed, a selfie/liveness check.
- Address verification and basic consistency checks (name, date of birth, and contact details).
- Device/account behavior signals intended to detect circumvention or inconsistent age/location claims.
4) If age can’t be verified
- We may restrict features, place your account on hold, or deny access until verification is completed.
- If you do not provide requested information within a reasonable time, we may suspend or close the account.
- If we determine you are underage, we will terminate access and take additional steps to prevent re-registration.
5) Strict prohibition on minors & marketing safeguards
- Minors may not create accounts or use the service, even with parental/guardian permission.
- We do not knowingly target advertising to minors and may use age-targeting settings and content standards to reduce underage exposure.
- If you believe a minor has accessed the service, contact us so we can investigate and take action.
